A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is a trained healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a PT.

 

PTs/PTAs at Pioneer are given the opportunity to pursue their passion of patient care while also exploring different cities across the nation.

Occupational Therapist & Certified Occupational Therapist

An Occupational Therapist (OT) is a licensed healthcare professional who specializes in helping individuals of all ages regain or develop skills necessary for daily living. They work with people who have physical, developmental, or emotional challenges, such as injuries, disabilities, or mental health conditions. A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a trained healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a licensed OT.

 

Being able to work locally or travel nationally as an OT/COTA gives the freedom to explore different patient demographics and gain new experiences.

A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is a trained professional who works under the supervision of a SLP.

Registered Nurse

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed healthcare professional with formal education and licensure They provide direct patient care, administer medications, and offer support and education in various settings like hospitals, clinics, and schools. RNs collaborate with healthcare teams, can specialize, and often assume leadership roles, influencing healthcare policy and ongoing education. 

 

Becoming a traveling nurse involves working temporary assignments in different locations.
