Responsibilities of a Licensed Vocational / Practical LVN LPN School Nurse:

� Provides required medication/treatment for students as ordered by a physician

� Assists the school nurse in physical screening and other appraisal evaluations

� Assists in initiating and maintaining health and other related records

� Adheres to schedules and performs other health-related duties as directed

� Serves as a health education resource person to staff and students

� Provides health counseling services for parents, students, and school personnel

� Maintains a health record for each student as needed

� Attends meetings as required

� Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis

� New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
