Pioneer Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an Inpatient Registered Nurse for a 13 - week assignment. The ideal Inpatient Registered Nurse will have a minimum of 1 year experience, although new grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities of an Inpatient Registered Nurse RN :

� Utilize assessment findings to evaluate the appropriateness of care

� Initiate, individualize, and implement clinical care protocols which consider diagnosis, assessment data and physician collaboration

� Monitor care delivered using clinical care protocols and criteria

� Initiate discharge assessment on admission and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team toward desired discharge goals

� Implement strategies to effect desirable outcomes for patients who are to be discharged

� Facilitate continuity of care encompassing all shifts, physicians, services, and disciplines

� Utilize relevant research findings to guide and select options for management of patient care issues

� Utilize internal and external resources and systems to effectively meet patient and family needs

� Utilizes established criteria as a guideline for clinical decision making

� Provide supervision and direction of Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff
