A school district in Thornton, CO is looking for dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team for the 2024- 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. Special Education Teacher who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their students lives.

Responsibilities/Expectations/Duties:

Small caseload

Provide classroom instruction differentiated for each students learning needs and in accordance with IEP goals.

Case management for students on caseload

Set up, facilitate and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs

Conduct formal assessments.

Attend SPED trainings as requested

Collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

Manage, train and support assigned paraeducators
