At Pioneer Healthcare Services, inclusion is more than a value. It’s our mission.
This June, we proudly recognize Learning Disability Week and Autistic Pride Day. These are two important observances that shine a light on the rights, visibility, and empowerment of students with learning differences.
“Do You See Me?” – Learning Disability Week 2025
At Pioneer, we know that students with learning disabilities are capable, resilient, and full of potential. They simply need the right support systems and environments to thrive. That’s why our team focuses on placing compassionate and qualified special education professionals, SLPs, occupational therapists, and school-based clinicians where they’re needed most.
Whether it’s a rural district seeking its first full-time speech-language pathologist or a large urban school looking for an experienced travel therapist, we ensure students with learning disabilities have access to the professionals who help them succeed.
Celebrating Autistic Pride Day
Autistic Pride Day, held each year on June 18, is a global celebration of neurodiversity, acceptance, and empowerment. At Pioneer, we understand that many of the students our professionals serve are on the autism spectrum, and they deserve classrooms that embrace their unique strengths.
From special education teachers to occupational therapists who support sensory regulation, the professionals we staff create safe, affirming spaces where every student can learn in a way that works for them. We are proud to partner with schools that prioritize inclusive education, and we’re inspired daily by the educators and therapists who do this work.
Why This Matters
Most of the classrooms we staff across the country serve students with special needs. Our job isn’t just to fill a position, it’s to ensure that every school has the tools, staffing, and heart to support all learners.
We believe:
Every student deserves to be seen and heard.
Inclusion improves outcomes for all.
Access to qualified professionals changes lives.
Whether you’re a travel therapist, a school district leader, or a special education job seeker, Pioneer is here to support you in making a lasting difference.
